The scanner is used for the superficial, athermic ablation of tissue surfaces. Moreover, it offers by a special software controller and in combination with a micromanipulator and microscope / colposcope an extended range of applications for ENT, Gynaecology and General Surgery.
Some Advantages:
- All figures can be turned around their axis by 90°, the bow in microsurgery mode by 180°
- All controls are already integrated into the laser device

More Versatile Than Any Other Device:
- Mode AESTHETICS
For an optimal
treatment there is a variety of different, in size adjustable scan
figures available that a defined amount of energy is applied upon. In
combination with handpieces with a focal width of 125 and optionally
200 mm (LAUP) SurgiScan enables a precise ablation of the upper skin
levels (skin resurfacing, etc.).
- Mode MICROSURGERY
The scanner
SurgiScan can be connected to all Limmer Laser micromanipulators with
focal widths of 200, 250, 300 and 400 mm. Therefore, all scan figures
can generally also be used in combination with those.
- Mode SURGILINE with SuperPulse
The scanner produces a line with a length adjustable between 2 and 20 mm.
- Mode POWERSCAN
This function
controls the scanner in a way that the scanning movement is done with a
high, adjustable level of power to evenly deep remove tissue. This mode
is especially useful in Gynaecology for the removal of condylomata and
in Dermatology for the surgical treatment of the Hidradenitis
Suppurativa.
In Particular Interesting for the Disciplines
- Dermatology
- Aesthetic-cosmetic Surgery
