The World's First Genuine Multipurpose Laser for Urology and Urogynaecology
Unique Laser Technology
For the first time it has been possible to combine a powerful, clinically proven laser for the effective treatment of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) with the Destruction of Stones (Lithotripsy).
Medical studies have shown that this special laser technology in combination with the LFD treatment mode results in an astonishing penetration depth of about 1 mm in soft tissue. This results in a significant decrease in intra- and postoperative complications for the patient.
The physician can efficiently and simultaneously, vapourise and coagulate the prostate. This allows the use of the LFD treatment for high-risk patients.
With the option of using either Sidefire or Bare Fibers, the device provides maximum flexibility during the treatment.
Important Reasons for the LFD Therapy
- Shorter treatment time
- Effective vapourisation due to high absorption in soft tissue even at low energy levels, causing much less tissue damage
- Much less bleeding, necrosis and inflammation
- Almost no blood in catheter after treatment
- Minimal swelling of the prostate postoperatively

Benefits for the physician and hospital
- One device for a whole range of procedures.
- No repeated learning of different user interfaces.
- Clearly reduced short and longterm costs.
- Shorter patient stay in hospital, day surgery treatment is possible.
- Less maintenance costs compared to Green Lasers.
No special requirements - the laser works at 230 V / 110 V, without external cooling supplies.
- Low noise level even during treatment.
- Eye-safe laser light, no special camera filters needed.
Benefits for the patient
- Taking of blood-thinning drugs can be continued.
- Regular urination after treatment is possible.
- Much less danger of embarrassing bleeding after the treatment.
- Shorter convalescence time, shorter stay in hospital.
Clinically tested product quality
- The laser is certified to IEC 60601-1:2005 (DIN EN 60601-1:2007)
- Product developed and manufactured in Germany to quality standard EN ISO 13485:2003.
- Engineered specifically for Urology and Urogynaecology, splash-proof and easy to maintain
